Le Mont St Michel X C.O.O Breton Sweater

£195.00

For our collaboration with friends LMSM we've taken queues from a garment synonymous with the region of Northern France: the breton stripe.  First introduced in 1858 as the uniform for all French navy seaman in Northern France. The original design featured 21 stripes, one for each of Napoleon Bonaparte's victories and the distinctive stripes made it easier to spot wayward sailors who had fallen overboard.

We've modernised this classic with an asymetric twist and fewer stripes.

100% Lambswool.

Look after your garms

Lambswool is a natural fibre with anti-bacterial self cleaning properties that should be washed less frequently than the rest of your wardrobe. We recommend airing your garment and spot cleaning where appropriate. When it comes time, wash by hand at 30ºC/85ºF and dry on a flat surface.
